What is ACCESS?
ACCESS firmly believes in ‘recreation is for all’ and has identified this desperate need for the integration of special-needs children and advocate for their participation in recreational activities while being somewhat dysfunctional part of their respective communities.
We are aiming at designing, implementing and sustaining the vital processes associated with community inclusion by offering respite home service, offering parents a drop-off program for their child of special need to give them break from 24/7 supervision.
On the other hand, it will facilitate children having special needs to go through a structured but proactive re-creational program to enjoy while they stay at the respite house on the weekend.
ACCESS being an advocate group would like to bridge the gaps for those families who are not familiar with these services by reaching out to them, as well as empower community by educating the importance of recreation to those families, who have some religious and cultural reservation in order to receive such services.
